Following Trump WH COVID-19 outbreak: Dozens of officials, associates and others have tested positive

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump was discharged from Walter Reed National Medical Center last month, four days after he and first lady Melania Trump tested positive for COVID-19. And a number of White House and campaign officials have tested positive for the virus since then.

Trump's announcement sent Washington and the rest of the country into fresh turmoil a month before the election. At least 20 people, including top administration officials, have tested positive since then. Many attended Judge Amy Coney Barrett's nomination ceremony Sept. 26 at the White House Rose Garden, where few people wore masks.

Just days before the General Election, a new COVID-19 outbreak emerged from the White House in the Vice President's office. And three days after the election multiple news reports said White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows has also tested positive, along with a Trump campaign official.
