Alabama
Sugar Hill U-Pick Farm, Verbena

Goughan’s Berry Farm, Caribou

There is so much for your family to do at Donaldson Farms. Agape House Berry Farm, Mustang
Brandy Glover enjoyed a fun time at Agape House with her son, Theodore. “We got a bucket and explored the strawberry patch. You can also pick blackberries here. The vines are thornless and mounted up on a trellis for easy access,” Brandy says, “It’s an adventure for kids and adults, with the added treat of feasting on your berries at a picnic table in the open-air barn.” John and Pati Colston started Agape House in 2016 with 1 acre and quickly fell in love with farming. Anne Forney Duvall says her family loves to visit Hess Farms for fruit every summer. “In fact, I have been going there since I was a teenager,” she says. “The farm has black raspberries, blueberries and cherries that you can pick. After indulging in some of the berries on-site, we take plenty along with us to turn into homemade raspberry ice cream or blueberry cobbler.”

Wisconsin
Moseley Roadside Market, Warrens
The Moseley family has sold their homegrown fruits and vegetables, as well as locally produced honey and maple syrup, since 1960, says Lorry Erickson. “The blueberry patch opens around July 1. Last year, they served blueberry pancakes on Saturdays to anyone who picked berries at their farm. That was enough to encourage my husband to help me pick a pailful two Saturdays in a row.” Keep an eye out for grandma Aleda Moseley, her daughter, Sara, and her granddaughter, Rebecca, making the pancakes. Wyoming
SonHarvest Seasons, Riverton
