To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You trailer promises not to break your heart

Lana Condor and Noah Centineo return in this sequel for To All the Boys I Loved Before.

So, Lara Jean Covey and Peter Kavinsky took their relationship from fake to official. What’s next? In the first trailer for Netflix’s To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, we find out.

After the success of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, based on the novel by author Jenny Han, Netflix quickly got started on a movie sequel based on the second book in Han’s trilogy. The footage for this next rom-com, returning stars Lana Condor as Lara Jean and Noah Centineo as Peter, shows the two teen love birds promising not to break each other’s hearts. But can anyone really make that promise with any type of assurances?

Enter John Ambrose McClaren, played by Jordan Fisher of Fox’s Rent and Grease Live. We saw John in the first film, but he takes on a larger role in the sequel as one of the many recipients of a Lara Jean love letter. Now, he’s looking to steal her away. It doesn’t help that they end up recreating that moment when she first fell (literally) for Peter.

“They’re true friends,” Condor told EW of Lara Jean and John. “But because you can love your friend very much, you get confused. You’re like, ‘Do I love him or do I love him as a friend?’ So he’s really there to mix it up.”

To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You will premiere on Netflix this Feb. 12.
