Auction house Sotheby’s is set to auction a rare jewel in February.

Dubbed “The Enigma,” this 555.55 carat black diamond is not only the largest fancy black natural color diamond in the world, but in 2006 it was also named the largest cut diamond in the world by the Guinness Book of World Records.

The exact source of the black diamond, also known as a carbonado diamond, is unknown, though it is believed to have originated from outer space.

“With the carbonado diamonds, we believe that they were formed through extraterrestrial origins, with meteorites colliding with the Earth and either forming chemical vapor disposition or indeed coming from the meteorites themselves,” Sophie Stevens, a jewelry specialist at Sotheby’s Dubai, told The Associated Press.

The black diamond is currently on an exhibit tour, traveling from Dubai to Los Angeles. The rare gem will be auctioned off in London.

Bidding will begin on Feb. 3, and the diamond is expected to auction for at least 5 million British pounds, or $6.8 million. Sotheby’s said it will accept cryptocurrency for the diamond.
