Prince William, who nobly sacrificed attending his beloved FA Cup final soccer game to be at his brother's same-day wedding, has just been given the biggest big brother role in the ceremony. Kensington Palace confirmed this morning that William will be Harry's best man.

"Prince Harry has asked his brother The Duke of Cambridge to be his Best Man at his wedding to Ms. Meghan Markle," the Royal Twitter wrote, while sharing some goofy pics of the two together. "Prince Harry served as best man to The Duke of Cambridge at his wedding to Miss Catherine Middleton in 2011. The Duke of Cambridge is honored to have been asked, and is very much looking forward to supporting his brother at St George's Chapel, Windsor on May 19th."

The Palace has not announced anyone in the bride, Meghan Markle's, party. Harry asking William is a more recent development; in January, William joked during an interview that he hadn't been asked to be best man yet. “He hasn’t asked me yet, just to clear that up," he said. "It could be a sensitive subject.” Well, Will, clearly patience pays off.
