Nipsey Hussle Remembered: Pharrell, J. Cole, Pusha-T, More Pay Tribute

Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed today (March 31) in Los Angeles. He was 33 years old. Many have paid tribute to the LA rapper, including Rihanna, Drake, and Chance the Rapper. More musicians, admirers, and collaborators of Hussle have shared their own tributes. “You were about something…positive and for your community in every chance you had to speak,” Pharrell said. Ava DuVernay also remembered the rapper: “I’ll remember him this way. Bright, genuine, forward thinking.” “We spoke abt how they let the ‘real ones’ in the building and how the Grammys ‘got it right’ this time,” Pusha-T said in his tribute—Pusha’s Daytona and Hussle’s debut Victory Lap were nominated for Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammys.
