The Twilight Zone” fans got a first taste of what the series’ reboot under Jordan Peele will be like during the Super Bowl, when CBS’ telecast appeared to be glitch out, only for viewers to enter the Twilight Zone.

The spot begins with an outside view of the stadium as an announcer narrates, but the screen cuts to text that reads, “CBS is off the air.” Attendees blink out of existence as the screen switches to the interior of the stadium. A soda cup falls to the ground, then disappears.

“Witness an empty space,” intones Peele as the camera zooms in on his feet walking across the field, “filled with thousands of screaming people. A man, both no where and everywhere at the same time.”

“Answers are new questions,” he continues. “The unthinkable is the expected. When truth is not the truth, what dimension are you even in?” Peele asks as he reaches a door suspended on the field and steps through, only to disappear on the other side.

Peele’s “Twilight Zone” reboot was announced in 2017, with the “Get Out” director named host in September. It’s set to premiere on CBS All Access on April 1. Ike Barinholtz, John Cho, Lucinda Dryzek, Taissa Farmiga, Greg Kinnear, Luke Kirby, Sanaa Lathan, Kumail Nanjiani, Adam Scott, Rhea Seehorn, Alison Tolman, Jacob Tremblay, Jefferson White, Jonathan Whitesell, Jessica Williams, DeWanda Wise and Steven Yeun will appear on the series.
