If you’re a Pac-12 basketball fan, you already know that listening to Bill Walton call a game is a truly enlightening experience – but younger NBA fans may not remember that Walton was once a staple in the NBA booth.
On Wednesday night, ESPN swapped its college and NBA broadcast teams, sending Mark Jackson and Hubie Brown to Duke while Walton and partner Dave Pasch called the Warriors-Blazers game in Portland.
It was a gem of a game, with Kevin Durant dropping 50 points in a loss, while Damian Lillard scored 44. Walton was in fine form, as always, and quickly became a trending topic on Twitter. Here are the best moments from Walton’s return to the NBA.
