It's Gilmore Girls' sweet 16—yes, it's been 16 years since Lorelai, Rory and the rest of the Stars Hollow citizens made their TV debut back in 2000—and we're just weeks away from the show's return to life on Netflix. To celebrate the occasion, Netflix has mounted two efforts: 1. They've made Luke's Diner pop-ups at coffee shops around the country 2. Released the below video retrospective. We know how emotional this may be, it's totally OK to cry over the coffee and the "We're Back" featurette.

"It's fun and exciting to be around great memories," Milo Ventimiglia said on set.

Ventimiglia, Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, Keiko Agena, Sean Gunn, Liza Weil, Jared Padalecki, Yanic Truesdale, Matt Czuchry, Melissa McCarthy and more Gilmore Girls stalwarts all returned for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, Netflix's four-part event series. And one thing is clear: everybody has very fond memories of their Gilmore past (and present).

"There are so many things that are my favorite about doing this show, but honestly, just playing this character is my favorite part," Graham said.

Bishop, Emily Gilmore to legions of fans, summed it up best: "It's fun. It's good writing, there's a sweetness to it."

"I couldn't have hoped for anything better," Graham said.

Check out the video above to hear from more Gilmore Girls cast members and be warned, there are scenes from throughout the original series. Netflix has also released season recaps should you need a refresher.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life picks up roughly 10 years after viewers said goodbye to Lorelai and Rory. Rory's having career struggles, Lorelei and Luke are together and everybody, especially Emily, is dealing with the loss of Richard (Edward Herrmann).

All four parts of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life debut on Netflix on Friday, Nov. 25. Plan your binge accordingly.
