During Wednesday night’s third and final presidential debate, Donald Trump said he should have won an Emmy for his work on The Apprentice.

The comment came after Trump refused to say whether he would accept the result of the presidential election on Nov. 8 were he to lose. The GOP nominee has spent the last week claiming the election was being “rigged” by the media and at the polls as well.

In response to Trump’s comments, Hillary Clinton said Trump had a history of blaming losses on what he claimed were rigged systems, including the Emmys.

“There was even a time when he didn’t get an Emmy for his TV program three years in a row and he started tweeting the Emmys were rigged against him,” she said, before Trump interrupted. “Should’ve gotten it,” he said.

“This is a mindset. This is how Donald thinks,” Clinton added. “And it’s funny, but it’s also really troubling.”

In the wake of Trump’s comments, screengrabs of his tweets against the Emmys circulated via Twitter.
