On the mound, longtime MLB starter Curt Schilling had incredible control. On social media, not so much.
On Tuesday, Schilling tweeted and then swiftly deleted a graphic showing Adolf Hitler and featuring some murky math about the percentage of Muslims identified as “extremists.” For the Win screengrabbed the tweet before it disappeared:
It’s typically a bad sign when a guy with a Confederate flag for his avatar calls you out for your ignorance.
Schilling has previously turned to Twitter to rail against the theory of evolution, and he believes his political beliefs have kept him out of the Hall of Fame.
