2015 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament selection show: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

The 64-team field for the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament will be set on Monday night.

Matt Cashore-USA TODAY Sports

The NCAA is set to announce the 64-team field in the Women's Basketball Tournament that will decide a national champion. On the ESPN Selection Show, not only will the teams be announced, but the sites of the first two rounds of the tournament will also be determined.

In the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament, unlike its men's counterpart, the top 16-seeded teams play host in the first and second rounds beginning on Friday. For teams that advance to the final 16 teams, regionals will be held in Oklahoma City, Okla., Greensboro, N.C., Albany, N.Y. and Spokane, Wash.

The semifinals and finals will be held in Tampa Bay, Fla., where a champion will be decided. The favorite to nab that crown are the Connecticut Huskies, looking for a third consecutive national championship. The sole blemish on the season for the Huskies is an early season, overtime loss to Stanford.

The first round of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament begins on Friday, March 20 and the tournament concludes on Wednesday, April 7. Here is the information for the selection show airing on Monday and how to watch it.

Time: 7 p.m. ET

TV Schedule: ESPN
