Eddie Redmayne wore a navy Alexander McQueen tuxedo and black bowtie on the red carpet at the 2015 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (Feb. 22) in Hollywood.
Fans of Redmayne have been waiting for this moment ever since 2012 when they fixated on his dimpled grin, steady eyes and tousled mop as Redmayne earnestly sang of empty chairs at empty tables in Les Miserables. Lucky for his legions of admirers, along with his looks, Redmayne possessed the requisite raw talent that ensured his Academy Awards arrival.

In fact, Redmayne may have a touch of genius. He enters the Dolby as a best actor Oscar candidate for his brilliant portrayal of quite bright Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything.
Be sure to watch the 2015 Oscars, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris tonight at 5:30p.m. PT/8:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
